One out in the 9th, down a run, and Russell Martin singles.

He runs well for a catcher, but don't you have to pinch run for him?

Couldn't find a separate topic on this but, two more arrested, original suspect exonerated in Stow beating, as per LA Times:

Ramon Santiago was the opening-day shortstop on the 2003 Magical Mystery Tour, and he's back with the Tigers as a utility infielder. In fact, all but one member of that infield is still in the league: Omar Infante started at second and Carlos Pena at first. (The third baseman was Eric Munson, who has still hit the longest ball ever hit at Comerica Park.)

Not really. The guy is on pace to break double digits in steals for the fourth time in his career. He's not Brett Gardner, but certainly not a guy you have to pinch run for.

Saw that Betemit throw today. Helluva debut there. :)

Inge has said he is committed to the organization and wants to be a Tiger for his career.

He's not a bad bench piece, can play many positions (even catch).

Fun fact: Sabathia turned 31 last night and has 171 wins, the most for a starter at 31 since Catfish Hunter had 202 in 1977.

Amazing, for someone who's that large of a load.

    And I like the guy.

Yeah, every time someone proclaims that "there will never be another 300-game winner!," I point to Sabathia.
