Did Nyjer Morgan tell Giants fans they're No. 1 in his book? (may have to page down a little for the video):

Boring in terms of the fact that they are reliable underachievers.

    With a hysterical defense . . . and not in a good way . . .

Great win by the Royals last night... Moustakas drives in three, Gordon doubles to tie the game; Soria escapes a bases-loaded, no-out jam; and Hosmer doubles home the game-winner in the 10th.

And I missed it in order to take in my first MLS game. At least the home team won and I saw six goals.

Moustakas has been scuffling big time before breaking out the last two games. Hopefully he can break out a little bit.

Don't forget Kyle Farnsworth blowing it for the Rays. That wasn't surprising at all.

Kyle did 100 ninja kicks as penance for blowing the lead.

I entirely agree. Always have thought the Trop gets a bad rap. Went to a game there 10-12 years ago, and it felt as comfortable as a living room. Fenway, it's not. But it's fan-friendly.

ESPN doing a featurette on the Big Red Machine prior to the Braves-Reds game tonight (with more apparently going to be interspersed during the game). Didn't we hear enough about them with Morgan on the broadcast for 20 years?

    Fun fact of the day:
According to the standings on ESPN, the Indians are the only team in the AL Central with a positive run differential ... at a whopping +1. Impressive!
