Un-FUCKING-believable. Don't know how much more you can say.

Like Elliotte says, there's no damn way there can't be repercussions on that call. Just too pathetic.

Proctor grounded out to third with runners at the corners; play came to home (as you do) and Lugo came up WAY short on the slide, didn't even actually touch the plate until after the tag, but was called safe. It was a hellaciously bad call, and I'm a Royals fan - I know from hellaciously bad calls.

Appropros of nothing, does anyone know why the forum clock is a full 22 minutes slow?

Even Lugo knew he was out. The call took him completely by surprise.

If anyone hasn't seen it, highlight's coming up on MLB.

I'll catch it at home soon as I get the pages out. Thank the baseball gods for all-nighters of Quick Pitch!

Looks as ridiculous the 17th time as it did the first 16.

I would love to hear Bud Selig wax poetic about the "human element" at the end of the season if the Bucs miss the playoffs by one game. Seriously, a 19-inning game between two teams chasing playoff spots cannot end with an egregiously blown call like this. Can't happen.

I mean it's not like he was LOOKING DIRECTLY AT THE FRICKING TAG!

Meanwhile Braves fans are celebrating another "classic win"

Just turned on Quick Pitch and ... OMFG!

Runner from third never touched the plate. And worse, sounds like the ump missed a very important day at the Jim Joyce Academy of Admitting I Blew the Call.

Just saw the replay on TV, that's Danny Davis-type officiating there.

Here's Meals's explanation, doesn't make much sense to me, maybe someone here can interpret it. Sense he will be in for a long day umping in front of the Pirates dugout tonight.

The guy had a bad strike zone as well last night. Tossed Nate and the Atlanta manager for complaining about nine-iron strikes.

McCann on DL with an oblique? Ugh. Does Ross take over as No. 1 or do they have some young stud they can plug in there?

Clint Hurdle's clam of 'he tagged him three feet in front of the plate' looks dead on there. Wow.
