Probably not, but I'm an Angels fan so there's that.

Heh-heh. How much did that knockdown have to do with Aybar laying down a bunt while Verlander's looking at a no-no?

Error, fielders choice and now a single for the bush league Angels.

Still trying to figure out how an RBI is given on that fielders choice play.

The runner on third came home on the grounder. Throw came home and runner caught in a rundown. Ends up scoring when the ball was dropped.

The run didn't score as a result of the batter putting the ball in play.

Rumors that Ludwick is about to be sent to the Pirates.

Looks like Bedard to Red Sox as well.

Ordonez started it by admiring his earlier home run. Angels did some yelling at him. Next at-bat, Ordonez flies out and returns to the dugout by running past the mound and yapping at Weaver. Lots of yelling then. Guillen homers, watches it, starts dancing and waving his arms before he's even halfway to first.
That's when the umps issued the warning. Weaver launched the next one over the next batter's head. Justifiable ejection. Lots of FU's directed to the Tigers dugout and the umpire.
Lots of good baseball drama, especially with a potential no-hitter in the mix.

Ricky Nolasco with an outing that pretty much defines the term scattering: 6 2/3 IP, 12H, 1R.

    ^ This.

From talking to Jered multiple times this summer, I can tell you he's a class act. He's also ultra competitive and has an old school sort of approach. The throw at Avila was justified, but it shouldn't have been at his head.

I don't get where Guillen gets off on getting involved in that situation. He should be happy he just hit his second homer of the year, especially against the Majors' ERA leader.

I also see no problem with Aybar bunting. He's a guy who often will attempt to bunt for a hit...it's not like the game was out of reach just because Verlander had a no-no.

Big stretch to say Ordonez stood and admired his home run early in the game. It wasn't a clear cut home run, being right down the line. It was either going to be fair or foul.

Guillen watched it a bit more, but still not the worst by far of other home runs.

Just a big hissy fit for Weaver. And his resulting actions are way worse than someone watching a home run.
