Chapman just threw a pitch *through* the screen behind home plate, providing a souvenir to an utterly surprised Cubs fan in the front row.

I wished the Giants had faced Garcia instead of Lee last night.

And oh, if Lee had been with the Cards, he would have been gone by the 7th and replaced by the next 4 relievers and likely lost the game, courtesy of LaRussa.

This guy's built like a Sherman tank. Big legs and forearms.

He just looks like a baseball player.

    Greek man love.

Just caught that. But, hey, Perez will show respect to Michael Young because he didn't try to bunt the winning run home in the bottom of the ninth. [/angelfanfuming.]

Mike Morse is hitting .320. Otherwise known as 100 points higher than Jayson Werth.

That was pretty close to ugly.

Ramon Ramirez drills Shane Victorino in the hip after getting hit around pretty good in the inning. Victorino starts walking toward the mound, but Eli Whiteside delivers a tackle on Placido Polanco charging in from first base. Lot of nasty business at the bottom of the scrum, from what I could see.

Gotta say, it's the first time I've seen a catcher jumping around like a little bitch before stuff got real.
