    See, I wonder if that plays into scheduling.

    Would MLB schedule the Yankees on a Sunday night in Texas? ESPN wouldn't want the nation's biggest market watching that game instead of their's.

    Texas has played Sunday night games in the summer for many, many years.

    The question was strictly about TV rights.

    I know the Rangers have long played on Sunday nights and understand why.

    Why, I repeat WHY does it take these two insufferable teams to take what should've been a 2 hour to 2:15 game into a four-hour bore fest?

    At this point, a loss might be preferable to extra innings.

    These 4+ hour games are no more fun for fans of the teams.
