Say this for Carlos Marmol, when he blows a save, he blows a save. Walk-off grand slam to failed Astros pitching prospect Brian Bogusevic tonight, turning a 5-2 lead into a 6-5 loss.

This run the Brewers are on is insane. A seven-game lead in August is the biggest they've had in a division in the second-half ever.

I'd like to act like I've been there before, but I have literally never been here before.

Mike Quade is bewildered, as if pitching him five days out of six this week had nothing to do with it.

Gotta give 'em points for creativity last night. In the 30+ years I've been watching these clowns that was a first.

If Mike Quade had any hair he would be pulling it out.

Jose Bautista is having a ridiculous season (white sign stealer or not); an OBP of 1.095 this late. 97 BB/76 ks is spectacular for a power hitter. He'll fall back maybe (.340 at the break; .244 since) but still.

Former Mets, Marlins first baseman Mike Jacobs (now a Rockies minor-leaguer) is the first player suspended by any North American professional sports league for HGH:
