All hail rookie catcher Salvidor Perez. Fun fact: I saw him play on Father's Day at AA Northwest Arkansas.

Everyone knows I'm the biggest Brewers fanboy there is. That said, Nyjer Morgan finally lost his season-long battle against the odds and did something completely idiotic tonight.

Struck out, start woofing at Chris Carpenter, who wasn't even looking at him, and winged his tobacco in his general direction.

    Dumb ass.

    Yep. Stupid move.

Pujols didn't help things either by charging at Morgan. But I guess that's the role the keepers of the game must play.

Pujols charges all the way across the diamond to get in Morgan's face yet only Morgan gets tossed.
The whole thing would've died out quickly if Albert hadn't chosen to escalate it.

Still dumb for Morgan to act the way he did. Haudricourt reported that Morgan and Carpenter have past issues, but take your K like a man and walk away without the woofing.

I'm stunned that Pujols lost his temper.

    Besides, Carpenter started it:

Brewers centerfielder Nyjer Morgan said St. Louis pitcher Chris Carpenter dropped an F-bomb on him after striking him out in the ninth inning Wednesday night, leading to a response from Morgan that resulted in a bench-clearing altercation.

Second man in always gets caught. Morgan should've let it go.

Enjoy Nyjer - he has some ability, no doubt, but his act makes him very, very, very hard to like.

Judging by the amount of Tony Plush jerseys and T-shirts flying off the shelves in Wisconsin, his act is very easy to like ...

    ... when you're winning.

FYI, Tony Plush rally towel day is Friday.

That's a sign of the apocalypse right there.
