    I'm not making it up. As a Braves fan I have a huge pit in my stomach right now

    That makes more sense.

    Comparing the Braves fan experience to the Cubs fan experience is intergalactically nonsensical.

    The Braves' 1995 title is still one more title than the Cubs have won in the last 100 years.

    The Braves were in a World Series as recently as 1999 - when I was a senior in high school. The Cubs haven't been in a World Series in my parents' lifetimes, and both are over 60 years old.

    And none of the Braves' playoff disappointments compare to what Cubs fans have endured:

    * The 1969 collapse
    * Blowing three chances to close out the 1984 pennant, with ace Rick Sutcliffe pitching in Game 5
    * Losing the last 3 games of the 1989 NLCS despite holding leads in the 6th inning or later in all 3 games
    * Blowing three chances to close out the 2003 pennant, the last two at home with aces Mark Prior and Kerry Wood pitching
    * Having the best record in baseball in 2008...and getting swept three straight in the opening round

    Only Indians fans can feel what Cubs fans feel.

    First off, homie? Second, you can be pissed, but have some sense of history for fuck's sake. One really bad month is not equal to going 100 years without winning a World Series. You really need to learn to STFU and not post every thought that comes into your head.

    Even the Indians can't really compare to the Cubs.

    I started watching sports in 1996. I've never seen my team win a World Series dawg.

    I'm now beginning to think YF's idea that a fake person was created to make you seem real is a possibility.
