Okay, I believe. That was the phoniest home run since the Ripken AS game.

Rivera pitched yesterday. Why should the Yankees pitched him tonight when they don't need to win and then need him to close Game 1 on Friday and Game 2 Saturday?

Guessing they won't be calling the Red Sox game early.

    As well they should.

Look, I'm someone who thinks the season could stand to lose about 20 games. But if 162 are scheduled, they should be played to a team's best ability, whether that team is a conetnder or a spoiler, or both.

    Wow, homer. Shocking.

But hey, they once led this game.

I was just going to say, "at least he didn't use Proctor."

Wade comes within a strike of getting his fist MLB save -- against the team that released him. (You think he didn't want to close it out?)

Now, the Yankees want to get on a plane home. Time to bring in Proctor.

Here's hoping Scott Proctor fields a comebacker, then holds onto it as the Ray hitter circles the bases and scores.

As a Yankee fan, why do I find myself laughing about them gagging away a 7-0 lead? I don't know, I just do.
