    Are you really this fucking stupid? Calling someone who's third all-time in managing victories "horrible" tells me that you are this fucking stupid. La Russa's a self-important prick and one of the biggest assholes in baseball, but he's anything but "horrible" at his job.

    He overmanages tremendously. He's had starstudded teams. Why don't people understand that managers have little, but certainly some, on the number of wins a team has.

    Six-year-old son of the Texas Rangers fan who fell out of the stands and died back in July (a game Blitz and I attended) just threw out the first pitch before Game 1 against Tampa Bay ... to Josh Hamilton.

    Not a dry eye in the house in Arlington.
