Do you have a link? Not doubting you, but I remember a couple of years ago, they were talking about their ratings being up. They figured that would eventually lead to more buts in seats.

If they're going back down, that's a bad sign.

The Blue Jays may also fall into this category.

Damn it. Posada hit that hard.

Gotta get a run or two here.

Joe Girardi's binder is burning up tonight. If he brings in Sabathia next inning, it will be his 4th pitcher in 5 innings.

Lots of chewing and spitting going on tonight.
    This is good baseball!

Is it too fucking much to ask that they keep the camera trained on the pitcher and batter instead of giving us crowd shots between pitches?

(Though the brunette they just focused on was pretty hot.)

    And that's the ball game.

Too soon for that, but god did they just waste an opportunity.

I'll venture to guess that a high percentage of American baseball fans hopes you are correct.

I'd like to think so but no. Bases loaded one out and you can't get one run? And your manager is running through the bullpen? Sorry. That's it.

Not a chance. Yankees lineup is too good and the Tigers' bullpen is too shaky.

While his players watch Spankyvision, Tony LaRussa needs only this game to serve his purposes.
