Uh, holy shit.

I'm assuming that, if true, the shift to the AL wouldn't happen until the 2013 season seeing as how the 2012 schedule has already been released.

 

I don't care for realigning a team after it's been in a league for 50 years, just to cover Bud's ass.

 

Seems like if anyone from the NL Central should leave, it should be a Milwaukee return to the AL.

 

The only other options, though, would be Colorado or Arizona, I guess.

 

That would be the logical thing.


The only reason to move Houston would be to set up a rivalry with Texas. And that's probably not a very strong reason.

 

The Brewers going to the National League, and starting a rivalry with the Cubs, was the realization of a dream long held by one Allan H. "Bud" Selig. I don't think they're going back.
