    When in doubt, vote Punto.

I'm watching the TBS postgame show (why are they dressed to go hunting?)...I really hope Jetes doesn't let himself go when he retires, like Ripken did.

Always vote Punto. The Chuck Norris of baseball comes through again with an RBI tonight.

As a Cardinal fan, to me this one feels a lot like 2006, with the "what the hell are these guys doing here" vibe. And sticking it to the Brewers and their beast mode bullshit on their home turf was amazing. At this point a WS win is gravy -- the Cardinals are the underdog again and that's how they like it. STL in 6.

If it's wrong to count misery porn as your favorite part of postseason sports, I don't want to be right.

A few grammar things before I head to work:

*Someone above referred to Detroit, who: Detroit is not a "who." Teams are not "who."

    *Well-ran organizations? Try well-run.

*If this year's Yankees were one of the best teams in history, baseball history hasn't been as special as I thought. A very good team, yes. A great team? Clearly not. I'm told, by the way, it is a lack of quality leadership.

*See ya, Milwaukee. I feel bad saying that, I really do. Many friends are Brewers fans, here and in the non-cyber world. But I can't root for any team that contains Nyjer Morgan. Or K-Rod. The combo? Yeesh.

Agreed, he was great throughout the series, especially when he was ripping Nyjer Morgan for running his mouth and acting like a big wheel and not backing it up on the field.

I really like the international feed, complete with the added touch of the players introducing themselves and what country they hail from. Lot less clutter on the screen too.

Not the least bit surprised Toronto is second. Concession prices at Rogers Centre are larcenous (although not as larcenous as their ticket prices for the Bills-Redskins game).

And there's a freaking brewery right across the street.

It should be noted this is for a small draft of beer.

The Toronto price is odd to me. Somebody needs to explain to the Blue Jays how to price their beer. Need to keep the line moving along, not dishing out large, awkward change amounts. Keep the change to quarters that can be used in the next purchase. No nickels or dimes. Keep it simple for the server and the consumer.

Here ends your retail pricing lesson of the day.

A large is what, $10, $11? Air Canada Centre prices are the same.
