Me thinks Toronto is adjusted to U.S. dollars from Canadian in that graph.

At a quick glance, it looks like most of the West Coast teams are $6 or less.

That's because they serve garlic fries, and they know you need more than one beer to wash those babies down.

Methinks my wife (a Canuck) would not be surprised I made this mistake.

That isn't right. I went to Tigers games this season and beer cost $7.50 for a 20 ouncer I believe.

The small beer at the Rangers is a 16-ouncer. The regular beer at the Rangers (which is $7) is a 20-ouncer. Both of those items cost $1 more last year until the day after Ryan et al. won the bankruptcy auction. Parking went down $2 (to $10) that day, too.

You might be getting 5 percent alcohol in Toronto as opposed to 4.2 or less for pisswater Miller Lite/Bud Light in Houston or Oakland. I don't know. But alcohol costs more in Toronto. It's just part of the deal.

All transactions in Canadian money end up involving small, awkard amounts of change.

I think the Rangers have to go in as heavy favorites, but heck, the last World Series the Cardinals won, they were the heavy dogs in that as well. At best, the favorite team is going to win the series 55 to 60 percent of the time, if I'm remember my stats from this correctly.

I can only hope the Rangers win. Would be a good year for me. Mavs winning their first title and the Rangers winning their first title.

Now if only the Cowboys wouldn't suck so much.
