I think this fits in with the thread about the low LCS ratings. Even sports journalists don't care when it's not teams they cover or root for or the Yankees/Red Sox.

You're hired! Just make sure you focus on the Dickensian aspect of his play.

People post what they are interested about.

NFL, college football, and world cup soccer get realtime posts here.

Oh, and the first couple rounds of the men's NCAA basketball tournament.

Punto had the key non-intentional intentional walk of the game. :)

But La Russa being La Russa, he'll sit him tonight and the Cards will lose.

I know Weaver gave them a hometown discount, but C.J. Wilson should not get one penny more than the $85M deal Weaver signed.

But Carpenter can pitch three games out of seven. And I am personally not all that impressed with Wilson, but he will get his money from some desperate team.

Wilson is going to be the A.J. Burnett of this FA class.

Perhaps, but Burnett was always wildly inconsistent. Wilson has been very good from the moment the Rangers converted him into a starting pitcher. He was solid in 2010 and even better this year despite pitching his home games in Arlington.

That said, he definitely shouldn't get what Weaver did. Weaver is not only a better pitcher, but he's younger.

If you look at Burnett's history in Florida and Toronto, he puts up numbers during contract years. Same as Adrian Beltre. Toronto reportedly scouted Wilson eight times this season. Somebody's going to overpay. Another source told Danny Knobler that if/when Wilson leaves, Ogando and Perez both will be in the rotation.
