That is true. That's why it's funny when you hear the same bs it comes down to pitching or when a team like the Red Sox or Yankees loses, it's always 'Well they need some more pitching." Jackson's got good stuff but he was the 4th or 5th guy on a White Sox team that was out of contention by the start of Sept. Lohse is decent but won't overpower anyone.

Need clarification but wasn't Kyle Lohse a Royal at one point. Just trying to figure out if the Rangers have seen him already.

Lackey has more pelts than C.J. Wilson, present suckage aside.

I expect the Angels to be one of the teams that goes after Wilson hard.

More pelts, but more signs of decline, too.

Lohse came up with the Twins, but has been in the NL for several years, and with the Cards since 2008.

You might be thinking of Kyle Davies:

What I don't understand is why Jackson seems to get traded every year, although with the Rays, they had plenty of pitching left over. He's had a pretty good run for the last few years, yet teams keep giving him up. For teams that need pitching, it seems like they should have kept him on.

he's never had a season where he really put it all together. in 08 with TB he won 14. he hasn't won that many since. he was solid this year, 12-9, but after 08 and based on his stuff i would think he a potential 18-20 game winner. was surprised at DBacks trading him but they did get D Hudson. he also gets 8.7 mil which is kind of high for someone who hasn't reached potential/expectations, and Boras is his agent.

Jackson is one of those guys who everyone realizes has value, but tends to get overpaid because of that value. Those players tend to move around a lot.
