Loved that Napoli swing. It was so old school, everything I tell my little leaguers to not do, don't step out, don't go dead pull. Just a brutal beastly swing.

Glad for Washington (what coach gets caught snorting coke at 50, then makes the WS back to back?)

In that commercial, is the Lakers fan in the hat the tall, scrawny guy from Dodgeball?

Hello. New around here. Who is Spnited and what does that handle mean?

Spnited was SportsJournalists.com institution Ron Drogo, who died suddenly just before spring training began. His handle was an abbreviation for his job title --- SPorts NIght EDitor.

Truly hoping the dominant C.J. Wilson shows up tonight. Love to see the Rangers win it in 6 or 7 when I'm off to enjoy it.

The big bet might have been real. Pictures of the ticket have surfaced:

Actually, the tickets were shown on the original Deadspin post. The difference today (as explained in the story you linked) is that the MGM Grand confirmed they were real.

"Four Aces" no more. Phillies decline Roy Oswalt's 2012 option (also Brad Lidge's):

Thanks, Steak. I found the thread on his passing here as well. Sounds like a helluva guy. Wish I could have talked baseball with him because long-suffering Mets fans are always awesome to talk to.
