If the Rangers lose tomorrow, should Ron Washington get fired?

There hasn't been a team to lose the World Series two years in a row since the 77-78 Dodgers. And no team has won the Series the year after losing it since the 1970 Orioles.

I still can't get over Darren Oliver being brought in to save a World Series clinching game.

This game was epic because it wasn't perfect. There is no way the Cardinals come back to with this game with three errors. There is no way as many opportunities the Rangers blew they should have been leading at all in the ninth. So many heroes and heroic hits each of the last three innings. This wasn't the greatest World Series game ever, but boy its going to be on the list of greats.

Well, the 1991 and '92 Braves will be happy to know they aren't such bed-shitters after all, but the 1988-89 A's and the 1976-77 Yankees might be coming after you for proper respect.

Where'd you get that note anyway?

I can not begin to tell you how fucking utterly crestfallen and dejected I feel right now.

No fucking way the Rangers win Game 7 now. No fucking way

A's didn't lose two in a row. Won in 89, otherwise you are right, LTL.

Of all of Ron Washington's blunders, that one was somewhat understandable. Two lefties were up to begin the inning. And the 7 & 8 hitters at that. If Darren Oliver can't get two light hitting lefties and the pitcher out, he shouldn't be on the roster to begin with.

Feliz had thrown 25 pitches in the 9th.

    My mistake(s) LTL.
