In this case, concerning Bama and Oklahoma State, the opinions match - Bama is better.

Those bitch ass schools were given the opportunity to compete in a 4 + 1 playoff. They turned it down. Oklahoma State's own conference turned it down in 2008 AND this year. Mike Slive and the SEC gave them a chance. The bitches turned it down so they can stop the whining and complaining. The reason Oklahoma State is not competing for a championship is their own fault.

I can't wait to watch LSU and Bama in the championship game. At least we know we'll see two good teams. I'm so happy that we don't have to accommodate a shitty team in the championship game for the sake not hurting people's feelings. That welfare mentality is the reason this country is so messed up now.

Oh damn, that Michigan/Virginia Tech is going to draw huge numbers of television viewers... in Michigan and Virginia.

Man, is it ever a travesty that the second-place team in the fucking MWC doesn't get a BCS bid.

Yep, that 35-21 win over the SEC East champion is worth showing again. And let's not kid ourselves; if that score of the TCU game swung two points the other way, AQB and that ilk would still be finding ways to keep Boise down.

Not to mention the rout of 8-4 Toledo, and of 8-4 Tulsa.

Who were some of the other ranked teams that Boise beat?

Who were some of the other AQ conference teams they played?

Looks like Chick-fil-A won't have a problem finding cows for this year's ads.

Looking through these bowl matchups ... there are hardly any that are moving the needle for me that I feel I "need" to tune into.

Wisconsin-Oregon (only out of tradition for this SoCal native), but otherwise ... nada.

AQ doesn't mean shit to me. Plenty of crappy teams in AQ conferences, plenty of good teams in non-AQ conferences. Boise won't become one bit more powerful when they join the Big East and become an AQ team. It's illogical, a priori reasoning.

Part of the problem is that it hasn't exactly been a banner year for college football.

    I do like Oklahoma State-Stanford.

I honestly would have liked to have seen Boise in a bowl game. I think they are an upper division-level AQ-conference team at this point.

At the same time, I don't see it as some miscarriage of justice that they didn't.
