    I would.

As long as there are plenty of three-yards-and-cloud-of-dusts.

Far more tension in a 12-9 game than a 70-65 or whatever.

There are 12-9 games that are great. That wasn't one of them.

How do you know? Seriously, how do you know?

Runner takes the ball on a pitch and is tackled for a 3-yard loss. Are you really watching closely enough to determine "the offensive tackle took the wrong blocking angle" instead of "the linebacker made a nice read and play" and thus it's crappy offense?

Alabama has lights-out defensive numbers throughout the season. Why wouldn't they have played lights-out defense in this game? Why would LSU have suddenly come up a crapper on offense in this one game . . . when scoring 38 and 45 in the two previous games and 42, 52, 41 and 42 in the four following games? "Good defense" is not only the obvious answer, it's also the only one that makes any sense.

I'd rather watch a 12-9 game than see the BYU offense again. That's for sure.

... and then they put together a 2 1/2-minute drive to score with 11 seconds remaining with a fake spike.

TigerVols shot a man on a bike in a Sears suit and doesn't know why.

Well, FSU fans feel better that he won those games instead of losing them.

The animus against shootouts is like the 1970s' last stand. It takes a well-conceived offense and talented players to score a lot in most cases. And somehow, it's not quite right to define Griffin's scrambles and laser throws as "Krystals"

It has been a long time since I have seen a well-played 12-9 ballgame.

Jesse Palmer just predicted Iowa to beat Oklahoma tonight.

In looking at his profile when he was on The Bachelor, he also enjoys candle-lit dinners, and masterbating to his Steve Spurrier picture on his nightstand.

That being said.......Iowa has no shot.

Iowa has won its last three bowl games, I believe as underdogs in at least a couple of them. Oklahoma is possibly the most overrated team in the country.

I don't know about Iowa winning, but I am certainly liking my plus-13.5.

Blitz just whacked someone behind him with a cowbell.

    7-0 Wake.
