Jeez, there's been a lot of bad football today.

    Fine start by the Pokes.

    1 snap, 1 turnover.

I like those helmets better than those prison garb unis the Ducks were sporting.

At two sportsbooks I visited in Vegas, Oregon was 6 1/2-point favorites. Fortunately for me -- Wisconsin is the only Big-10 team I root for because my wife went there -- I didn't bite.

Heck of a game. And as said earlier, the Rose Bowl is the best football venue in the country.

If center snapped it as soon as whistle blew they might have stopped it. There was a bit of a delay.

No score halfway through the first quarter, and a great punt to boot. Plainly these teams should have been relegated to the Armed Forces Bowl. Give us Baylor-UW.

And the ready for play is not supposed to be signaled until the chains are set, which they were not.

That really fast dude from Oregon that Chef2 is so enamored with (DeAnthony Thomas), he's one of the guys who committed to USC then de-committed when the bowl ban came down, which, in the Notre Dame thread, Micropolitanguy said had no effect on the Trojans.

That was pathetic. You know they run to set up play-action. You have been preparing for this for weeks. How do you get beat THAT bad?

Huge bomb from Luck to an absolutely wide-open receiver, 7-0 Stanford.

Not true. They can - and do - start the clock when the down box is set. Happens all the time.

Wonder how much Whataburger paid to put their logo on Okie State's sleeves?
