Gibbons, on the other hand, is 3-for-3. Michigan wins.

The kicker wasn't set. That should be 5 yards.

Brady Hoke sounds like someone just kicked him in the nads.

Some nice exhibition games so far. Good to see Michigan and Virginia Tech travel well.

When was the last time special teams cost Beamer a win?

And the accent. Don't forget the accent.
Still can't believe VT's fake punt call in the fourth. VT made more mistakes than Michigan tonight.

"Beamer Ball" is one of the biggest myths in college football.

God knows Boise State and Kansas State wouldn't have this seamless a game

    1. That was a catch. Horrible booth overturn.
    2. Beamer made all kinds of horrible decisions.
    3. Has Beamer ever won a big game? I'm struggling to remember one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't they Pac-12 officials? If so, that explains the bad calls throughout the night.
Absolutely agree on Beamer, especially that fake punt in the fourth.
Michigan looked like just about the worst 11-win team in a while.

I think he did stop himself and reset for a full count before the kick, as is legal for anyone who goes in motion. It was good officiating not to anticipate the call and incorrectly call a false start.

On the overrule of the TD, one of the final views they showed was one from the opposite side of the end zone that (I thought) showed the ball hitting the ground.

Gotta be set for a full second. He wasn't. And it's not a false start in the backfield. It's illegal motion, live ball foul.
