It's going to get worse too. Clemson will start getting pissed, and getting chippy.......then you get fights and all sorts of goodness.

Letdown? Are you out of your mind? Oregon-Wisky, Baylor-Washington, Michigan State-Georgia, Oklahoma State-Stanford, Michigan-Virginia Tech, FSU-Notre Dame weren't good enough games for you? Man, you're hard to entertain.

I would have argued tooth and nail with you a few hours ago. Especially given how I don't see how any Big East team, including West Virginia, which didn't beat anyone all that great this season (and got clobbered by LSU), deserved an automatic BCS Bowl.

Watching this, and just how embarrassing it has been for Clemson, I can't say a thing. The ACC is going to go 1-6 in bowl games, I believe.

I still think from top to bottom it is not a bad conference, but the bowl games just aren't backing that up.

ACC will finish with wins over Notre Dame (FSU) and Louisville (NC State).

Friendly reminder: Since the BCS began, these are your ACC victories:

    - FSU's national championship over Virginia Tech
    - 2008 VT over Cincinnati

    That's it.

Urban Meyer and Nick Saban have more BCS championships than the ACC has wins.

This was the first year the ACC got an at-large team. They of course lost.

FSU's win was in Florida. NC State's win was in North Carolina.

You can't make up how bad this "major" conference is.

IIRC, the FSU title was pre-ACC.

Sorry, but you can't take away BCS status from a conference that has FSU, Miami, Clemson, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech. By my reckoning, the current ACC membership has accounted for nine national championships since 1983.

Nah. They had been in the ACC for years at that point.

That game was pre-ACC for VT, though.
