And all of none since FSU dominated the college football world, which might as well be a lifetime ago.

At least ban them from a year. They've earned it.

Um, I didn't suggest taking away BCS status from the ACC.

In fact, I kind of remember (hey, you quoted it!) saying that I personally think the ACC from top to bottom is a not a bad conference.

If the Big East has remained a BCS league since losing Miami, VT and BC, no one's going to lose their spot.

As a big Big East basher, I have to say I agree with this. The only thing I would say going forward is that you're dealing with two teams (Miami and FSU) that ruled college football in the not-so-distant past and are probably going to get back, not to that domination but to being competitive for national championships, and VaTech is a legit top-15 program. Big East can't really say that; I believe that with Pitt leaving they don't have a member that has ever won a national championship, or one that has played for a national championship in the BCS era.

But the ACC getting two BCS bids is maybe Exhibit A of how messed up the system is, and would make a nice case study for any investigators or attorneys general to pursue.

Yes....this is the same Clemson defense that gave up 45 to that high powered offense known as Maryland.

    67,563 in attendance?

Is this some sort of joke?

I think that's the announced attendance of those dressed as empty seats.

OB has had lots of crap bowls since the BCS -- and lots of nonsellouts.

But at least the smiling Orange is finally gone.

That smiling orange was the origin of many a young childs nightmare.

I think FSU also got an Orange Bowl win against Penn State. I could easily be reversing the result though.

And yet DC Steele is apparently the leading candidate to become the next DC on Derek Dooley's staff in Knoxville.
