Hue Jackson is a moron. How many people get to hire their boss?

Most high profile head coaches get to hire GM and have final say on all personnel matters.

Not in the same power structure the Raiders are apparently looking at.

They're not going to hire the hottest name on the open market to work for Hue Jackson.

The quarterback issue with Del Rio is what always left me shaking my head.

The Bears have promoted Mike Tice to offensive coordinator.

It always amazes me when coaches who have done nothing think they deserve the control that truthfully, shouldn't even be given to those who have won Super Bowls.

Well, he has done a great job with the O-line. :D

Jackson is looking like another Raiders loon. Right around now the old man is pounding on his coffin lid so he can be part of this power play.

You can argue Jackson should have been fired over the Palmer trade.

You could argue that the Raiders not making the playoffs saved them. Otherwise, they would have owed Cincy another No. 1 pick.

Actually, Mizzou, Tice did a very good job with that line. Adapting to Martz's system and play-calling insanity with the group he had was next to impossible. But he figured out how to do it in each of the last two seasons. I have no idea what kind of play-caller he will be, but I like the promotion from a continuity standpoint as it relates to Cutler and the offense. They should now be the physical running team they're built for.

I actually think he is a great offensive line coach and thought he was underrated as a HC, which meant he wasn't nearly as bad as everyone thought he was. He is a meathead. He was also one of my favorite coaches to deal with. There's something kind of charming about someone who doesn't become a HC who never says anything interesting.

Plus, the Vikings were a hell of a lot better when he was there then than since...
