    Does Mariucci get another shot in Indy? Does he even want to coach? I'd take him over the rest of the field, easily.

    Phillips has been coaching in the league for 35 years. He's had some impact at every stop, worked for a few meddlesome owners as a head coach.

    I don't think anyone can explain why Turner is still a head coach, so I'm not going to touch that one.

    I read Mike Silver's column today that indicates Mark Davis is "insecure" because he was routinely belittled by Al in front of football staff for his opinions and wants to clear those people out.
    But it isn't like Al and his lackeys have a lot to crow about when it comes to their opinions given the Raiders recent fortunes.

    Jackson just said on Rich Eisen's podcast that he thinks he would still be the coach if Al were around.

    Yes, but again, if that was on the table it is criminal to sign off on the Palmer trade.
