Sergio is a whiny little wimp. Win a major and then spout off.

What's the problem? Sergio already told us he does not believe in himself and he's merely playing for 2nd. (damn shame, the guy drives it as far and straight as anyone.)

Woods' 78th career win in his 300th PGA Tour start. That's more than a quarter of the tournaments he's entered, he's won. Not just top ten. WON!! Unbelievable.

I am one of the people who believes there are more good golfers out there today than at any time in history, so, in theory, it should be harder to pile up wins now than in the Snead era, the Hogan era, the Palmer era, the Nicklaus era. It would be interesting to compare how those icons stack up against Woods when looking at percentage of actual tournament victories (yes, I know there are more events held today).

For this season alone, Woods has four wins and they've all come against really stellar fields. So maybe he's back to the form of 2000-01?

  5. Which is a shame... I'd love to see someone thump Tiger on a final-round back nine. But Not Sergio.
I'm not the biggest TW fan, but Sergio? No thanks.

I would love to see these two in a fight. Tiger would turn him into a messy pile of spanish shit.

It wasn't exactly gusting on Sunday -- that was a pretty simple tee shot with a pitching wedge. He knew he was tied and didn't need to try to hit the perfect shot.

I agree. If you're "in it" you don't shoot at that flag on Sunday. Even for these guys, the margin for error on that hole with that flag includes disaster. You aim just to the left of that bunker and, at worst, walk away with a par. If you're two back, it's entirely a different story. But tied for the lead? No way.

Still wondering why he didn't go to the drop zone? It turns a 143-yard shot with a wedge into a 90-yard shot with a green the size of your backyard to work with.

Especially because he if he could have gotten up and down from the drop zone, he could have potentially gotten into a playoff with a birdie on 18.

It would be fun to watch a tournament this year played with equipment from 1972, the year Jack won 2 majors.
