Their rotations on D have been awful. They'll fix that. Their ball movement on offense isn't where it needs to be. They'll fix that. Those two fixes will have them winning a lot of games.
They won't be great rim protectors, ever. So, that's not fixable. But by the end of the year their D will be much improved - though not good. Their offense will be much improved and will be really, really good.
So...I guess my answer should have been "sort of."
SOME of their problems are fixable. And when those are fixed they'll be good. Not championship caliber yet. But probably still tops in the East.

Cleveland should try and land Rondo.

From what I've seen, the problem is that LeBron plays the point entirely too much, which gums up the works. Let Kyrie run the show. That's his job.

That's how they were doing it at the beginning of the season, but it resulted in Lebron and Love not getting enough touches and these games where Kyrie forks up an insane number of shots without a single assist. So they switched to a new lineup running the offense through Lebron as the de facto point more often and .....well, that ain't working either.

A basic problem with their construction is their two best guards, Irving and Waiters, are both shoot-first ball-dominant gunners without much feel for the distributor role. They really could use a more pass first/defense focused guy in that backcourt. As someone else mentioned, Rondo would be perfect, but what would they have to give up to get him?

Looks like Rose is wilting again. He's about as durable as an ice cube in a dessert

Spurs play at Philly Monday, after playing at Boston today. Why should Duncan, Ginobili and Parker even make the trip to Philly? Is there another gimpy, injured, overrated college center the Sixers want to draft next year?
