Evan Gattis struck out 4 times today, and has struck out in his last 8 plate appearances.

I don't think that kind of Sombrero has been named yet.

    Double Platinum Sombrero?

The second I turned to that game, Lowrie homered. Sorry, Cleveland.

I assume most cable companies are running the free MLB package for the first week of the season. I have FIOS, and its only letting me watch all the games in standard def. No HD. Is this the case with everyone else? That's terrible.

Loved this promo from MLBAM... Buck was a perfect choice for narration.

I always love these kinds of stories.

What player, who spent years in the minors, ended up having the best Major League career? Has anyone who languished in the minors ended up being an above average MLB player?

We were at the game, f*ck you, Jed Lowrie....

Bauer has an amazing number of pitches, still can't seem to locate his fastball with any consistency. Was at 50+ pitches in the 2nd frame.

What's the MLB record for team strikeouts? With That lineup, 'stros are gonna give it a hell of a run.

Didn't Maury Wills do a lot of time in the minors as well?

I think the Astros set it two years ago at around 1,560 or so, breaking their own record set it 2010.
