Wrong again, dude. I dislike 100 percent of the players who don't hustle. There's a difference between sprinting and running and jogging. Don't need to sprint on routine plays. No reason they can't run. Jogging is unacceptable.
Blue Jays vs. Angels = apples and oranges. Jays were built as a power team, Angels weren't.
Poor signings, yes, you finally got one right.

What's the difference between this years team and the Angels teams of the last 3 years? Were those teams not built for power that finished 1st, 7th and 4th in runs scored?

Oh, it gets better. Bought it on September 14th. The house was assessed at $1.5 million. So, why the extra $1.4 million? Guess the wife REALLY liked it? Holy cow...

I dislike Mike as much as almost anyone here. But to have this team playing like this in late September... after the Hamilton kerfuffel in April, the power struggle with the GM in the summer...

Somebody's gotta be doing something right.

After the terrible August, I never thought the Angels would be in this position and I'm more than happy to be wrong. No matter what happens over the next five games, I give them credit for hanging in there this long, especially after that demoralizing loss to the Astros earlier this month.

That said, whether the Angels make the postseason or not, Moreno, Scioscia and whoever becomes the GM better realize some upgrades are needed, second base and left field paramount among them. Credit for the hot streak, but most of these wins have been by the skin of their teeth. They actually had an easy win Tuesday night, but the three games before, they scored the winning run in their last at-bat, and Saturday's night's victory to the Mariners owed itself to an incredible home-run robbery by Trout.

Just the same, it should be fun from here on out. And a three-way tie at the top of the division is still possible.

My half-baked theory is word got around the clubhouse that Scioscia was on the chopping block, and that lit a fire under the team.

Or it's baseball and it's a long season full of ups and downs.

The Blue Jays are going to play the second half of this double header half corked.
