The next two after that it doesn't matter whether he plays or not.

Why in the blue hell are there significant conference games next weekend anyway? Talk about getting lost in the shuffle.

If they are going to play 18 league games by early March they got to get started.

I prefer this to the old system, where the ACC used to wedge a couple of league games in the first weekend of December and then go back to non-con for a couple of weeks. Coaches love to make the natural preparation switch from non-conference to conference. They don't like going back and forth.

SEC is doing five league games on Thursday the 29th, then taking the weekend off. Avoids clashing with all the bowls and playoffs on NYE.

It's one thing for UCLA to be undefeated at this point in the season.

But USC is undefeated too ... 13-0, best start since 16-0 in '71.

Just 1 game has been east of Vegas -- at Texas A&M -- while 8 at have been at home, 1 at Staples, 1 at San Diego.

Some of their wins include BYU, Missouri State, Wyoming, SMU, New Orleans, and Santa Barbara.

Have I mentioned this bullshit that big schools buy schedules where they avoid road games?

They would undoubtedly destroy anyone besides Alabama.

Unlikely but they'd sure as hell beat Auburn in rings.

That is a strikingly unimpressive collection of wins to be bragging about. Play at least one ranked team and then we'll talk....

I'm not bragging. It's a crappy program. I only noticed 13-0 this morning. USC will never amount to anything in hoops. Not sure they want to.

I have more respect for Long Beach State: Wichita, North Carolina, Louisville, UCLA, Washington, Kansas, Texas, Oregon State ...

I watched USC beat Wyoming in overtime last night and wasn't super impressed. I think the Trojans will finish in the top half of the PAC-12, but UCLA, Oregon, Cal and Arizona are all better.
