You're somewhat correct, and in my exuberance I didn't entirely think it through. Each session in the first weekend is two games, meaning three sessions at each location. The two Sweet 16 games are a standalone session, as is the Elite 8.

I didn't take into account that session tixketholders (KU people in KC) are unlikely to scalp the non-KU game that could include FSU. Of course they'll watch a game they already paid for that includes their next opponent.

Haven't covered or gone to a tourney game in a while. Probably was the mid 90s, was sold as a three-game deal, that was at the Meadowlands. Was thinking all places did it that way.

If you get a 1st-2nd round site, that's three tickets. Two doubleheaders the first day with day and night sessions ticketed separately, then one more doubleheader for the weekend.

I sometimes think the Scott Drew can't coach stuff is a little overblown and outdated, even if I'm guilty of making the jokes. But man, he sucked tonight. Baylor went away from everything that worked for it in the first half. Motley took two shots in the second half. KU has absolutely no depth and can't afford to get in foul trouble, so Baylor just chucks up jumpers and never takes it inside.

And that last possession was brutal while Drew kept a timeout in his pocket.

It's OK. He cheats well enough to overcome his coaching issues.

    Don't worry, it remains overblown.

Drew does know those timeouts don't carry over right?

Congrats, Cavs fans. That was an ass whipping.

Though on a positive note, my surrogate bandwagon team VCU continues to roll. Good win against the Spidahs.

Either way, it makes me happy he now has lost more games at Allen Fieldhouse than Bill Self.

Thanks, Cosmo. I really don't get what Buzz was trying to do with his gameplan. The press into the soft zone against a team that works the clock? Seemed like he was playing right into Tony's hands. I know the Hokies are thin inside, but that was puzzling.

What was with Beamer being on the bench? Was it some weird motivational ploy that didn't work? Or did he just want a good seat?

I'm not sure why Beamer was there ... as for the game, I didn't see a ton of it because VCU-UR was way more compelling (at least until the U4 in the 2nd) and by the time I got to the Tech game, it was pretty much over. But, yeah, Buzz's strategy wasn't his finest. I think Tech still has a strong NCAA resume, but probably still has some work to do. A win over UVa at home would be a start. Probably needs to win a couple of more roadies (Miami, BC, Pitt most likely).
