ESPN paid big money for the SEC. Kentucky and Florida are the SEC teams worth watching. Kentucky delivers better ratings than the rest of the league. So Kentucky is always on.

Are you saying ESPN didn't pay billions for the right to show SEC games?

Duke's been the best for 30 years on the back of a singular coach. UNC Kansas Kentucky NC St, UConn have won with multiple coaches. Has Duke been to a Final 4 without Coach Jesus? Duke doesn't have a program, they have a coach. If he left 15 years ago for another top 50 school, he'd be more successful than his replacements at Duke

Duke went to the Final Four two years before it hired K.

And K is the third coach to take Duke to the Final Four. Vic Bubas did it three times.

They were the favorites the year the Walt Hazzard UCLA team dismantled them.

Duke made the Final Four under Vic Bubas and Bill Foster before K arrived in Durham. Both got 'em to the title game and lost, too.

But I love to tease my Duke friends - along the lines of your point - that Bill Foster left Duke to coach South Carolina because it was a step up at the time.
