Considering its 6-12 conference record, probably not.

I'm fine with Mason getting extra rest.

That was bizarre. Why would Bill Self keep Kansas Kukoc on the floor when they needed a defensive stop?

Unless... he figured that a close loss was better than an OT win when resting for next week.

It's a sound strategy. Likewise KU's biannual first Sunday NCAA loss to rest up for Midnight at the Phog.

Vegas has been perfect for the Pac-12. Much bigger crowds than when it was at Staples Center in LA.

The SEC is lucky in that most of its natural tournament sites (Atlanta, New Orleans, Memphis and Nashville) are all easily accessible. Most of the conference can drive to them in eight hours or less. Why they ever put it in Tampa that one time is a "Who killed JFK?" level mystery.

Because of the plane crash yesterday, all of Michigan's gear is locked away in the cargo hold pending the NTSB investigation. They're having to wear and wash one set of practice jerseys for the entire Big 10 tournament.

No uniforms for U-M until plane inquiry over

Can't they all just wear a bunch of Webber #4 gold Fab Five jerseys on the $3.98 rack at Goodwills in DC?

Really? I was going to come on here and make fun of them for wearing intramural uniforms. Glad I didn't do that!

Just switched from ESPN to the local station moments after Lunardi showed up onscreen. Felt really good.

Of course, there is no way, no possible way, that NIKE can deliver three new sets of uniforms (one of each color) to DC by Saturday (or by tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. for that matter).

And there is no way, no possible way, that U-M does not already have four or six or 16 sets of uniforms (all with the NIKE/Jordan logo) locked up in the storeroom of Crisler Arena.
