Conference USA is just the Sun Belt under a new name, right?

It has a bunch of schools that used to be there. But in truth, the Sun Belt was the better football league last fall and has pulled nearly even in basketball.

Decades after Frank McGuire's Underground Railroad the ACC tournament finally comes to NYC. And poor Bobby Cremins is stuck in Nashville being honored as a "SEC Legend"

I do not want to see Seton Hall as an 8/9 in KU's region.

No matter how many Florida games I see, it still cracks me up that they have a regular rotation player named Keith Stone.

I was a huge, huge college basketball fan from ages 12-26. I'm 46 now. I tried to watch some conference tourney games yesterday -- we get ACC, SEC and Big Ten on cable here -- it is SO AWFUL. North Carolina/Duke is pretty good now, but the other games I attempted to see were awful. Shame what's happened to this sport.

Virginia has set the sport back decades. Those games are painful.

The Big Ten was still cutting the likes of Rutgers out of the herd yesterday.

It would be harder to get into up there I'd think. Part of the appeal of this week, especially the earlier rounds, is there is so much going on at once. If Game A is a dud, there are usually Games B-E to flip to on cable, and games F-Q streaming online. There's bound to be something sticking with for a few minutes at a time.

The Big West should be at the Anaheim Convention Center or Titan Gym. They're only at Honda Center for the trial runs in the every three years it hosts the West Regional in Anaheim.
