I have this sinking feeling Astros have a 2-run rally coming. Not that I'm rooting against them, but I'd like to go to bed.

Pretty big difference, in my estimation, between a one-run game and a two-run game in the 8th and 9th innings.

The idea that you’d give up an at-bat while trailing in the late innings of World Series Game 6 is one of the dumbest ideas I’ve seen here in a long time.

We are perfectly set up for another whack job game like games 2 and 5. I recommend afternoon naps.

Oh, there are a lot dumber ideas around here. Turns out it didn't matter. But me? I leave in a great pitcher in a one-run game when the bullpen is a total disaster.

Ok. So if they kept Verlander in, he would've gotten a hit. They didn't come close to scoring off Jansen. But yeah if Verlander stayed in there they would've won.

Not really interested in making this some sort of giant deal. I would have left him in. That's all.

Yup, I was way wrong on that one. He dominated the Astros.

OK. and if they left him in they still would have lost. you said they should have left him in and then when LA scored a 3rd run you posted it again as if to confirm you were correct. But Houston didn't score and as good as Verlander pitched, he gave up the go-ahead run.

You really, really want to fight about this, don't ya? It's quite easy to have an opinion once the outcome is known. Congrats.

Another fly ball that shouldn’t get out.

I'm not the one patting myself on the back, just saying when they took him out they were losing. Unless they scored it didn't matter.
