Arrieta's 3.10 ERA last year was better than his career 3.68 ERA.

Lester's current 3.89 ERA is higher than his career 3.46 mark.

 

Is ERA the only stat you use? Dicks already countered that.

 

Not the only one, but it sure does poke a hole in his claim.

But of course, you'll back any argument as long as I'm on the other side.

 

Pokes hole in what claim? I explained in exacting detail why Lester's ERA last year overvalued his actual performance and why this year's ERA undervalued it.

Do you have a counter to that mound of evidence?
