I love Jeremy Guthrie, but he's been done as a big league starter for a while now.

Those really hurt a player's RAW numbers.

The saddest part of that is that the two outs were sacrifice flies.

He'll be in Cincinnati by Independence Day.

Other than the fact his manager is Dusty Baker, how on earth was he allowed to stay out there that long? Was the Nats' bullpen used up this early in the season? How do you not pull him by the time it's 5-0 or 6-0?

It's Dusty. There is no other explanation.

I think it was because the second out made it 4-0 and that he'd be able to get the third and give them another inning or two.

He did use 4 guys on Wednesday, 4 guys on Friday and 5 guys on Thursday and three of them Friday/Saturday were the same pitcher (Solis, Glover Treinen) so I would guess they were unavailable on Saturday

Are there any websites that replicate the traditional newspaper agate by providing all box scores on a single page? Obviously many websites have scores, but so far as I can tell they all require additional clicks to see the box scores, and even then you can only look at one at a time.

Well, ladies and gentleman, your AL East-leading 4-1 Orioles.
Miley had 5 IP, one hit ball, but 7 fucking walks, yet zero runs. I'm going to review the PBP later, but that is a hell of a lot of dodging bullets.

Then O'Day melted down in the 9th. IIRC, he didn't have a great spring. Hope he isn't hurting.
