    By WAR he'd be the third-worst at the position, ahead of only the aforementioned High Pockets and Bottomley. By WAR only 12 HOF players are below him and one of them, for obvious reasons, is Campanella.

    Yeah, I don't think Garvey's much of a HOF threat.

    Garvey's hall case rests almost completely on MVP voting results. He did extremely well in his era, and is 60th all time in MVP win shares. That is good number, but a number that should be part of a larger case for enshrinement. The rest of his case folder is basically empty.
