Another night, another grand slam for the Cardinals, this time by Fowler. No kitty needed tonight. Cubs and Brewers better look out, 'cause the Cardinals are coming. It's about fucking time.

Very fun watching Yo Yo's coming out party in person tonight.

And it's about time too. Cards don't have enough division titles on display in that park. :)

He's going to be good. Watch him at the plate then watch, say, Tim Anderson. It goes 0-2, Moncada is still fighting up there. He draws walks like crazy, and even a lot of his outs have been hit right on the screws.

Don't forget the Pirates even though ownership has zero desire to ever see the Buccos do anything.

You don't think that big trade for Joaquin Benoit at the deadline was a sign of ownership's dedication?

Took longer than I would have expected, but this was ALWAYS going to happen.

No question MLB wanted Jeter to be the face of this. Right move for all involved.

Every team except the Reds has a realistic shot of winning that division.

Cubs have the strongest lineup. Cardinals have the best pitching. Brewers can mash. Pirates do enough to make it interesting.

The sprint to the finish will be interesting.
