Dave Roberts is not going to win the manager of the year award this year methinks. :(

I had assumed insurance was bought for this eventuality, but it's still a fun note as the Indians try to win their 15th straight. About $1.7 million worth of windows, siding and doors riding on tonight's outcome.

Company to rebate $1.7M if Indians get 15th win

The Twins rally with three in the ninth for a big win over the Royals. The key hit may have been a perfectly placed fly ball down the left-field line just outside of Alex Gordon's reach. Just the Twins third win this season when trailing after eight innings and the Royals second loss when leading after 8.

Wasn't even perfectly placed, it was a miscommunication between Gordon and Escobar and neither took it. Should have been a routine pop out.

Sorry, I was blinded by the Homer Hanky I was waving ;) So to me, it landing on the ground was perfectly placed.

Dodgers faceplanting in Colorado and looking like the worst team in baseball the last couple weeks.

Which begs the question, how would they do in the AL East?

Jets would still be terrible. Josh McCown's FIP would be much better if he could last longer than two quarters.

Every time Soria and Herrera enter a ballgame, Davis and Holland have to sit back and crack a wry smile.

I'm not sure, but Christian Hackenberg's little brother is a legit baseball prospect.
