Running 2017 MLB regular season thread

The main reason I follow Jason La Canfora on Twitter is for weekends like the last, but he really disappointed me this time.

 

It's only May, and the O's bullpen (and starters too) are really suboptimal right now. Britton being out hurts a lot.

Plenty of time for them to spank KC in the future.

 

Sorry, Vomby. I actually really like most O's fans. At the ALCS a few years ago they were kind enough to leave Camden early and let us KC people in take their seats near the dugouts.

When I saw the video I wondered how he could be starting his swing. I thought maybe they were stealing signs and screwed up, but Iannetta was leading off from what I can tell. He says he doesn't remember anything other than being hit. Was he guessing?

Mets and D'backs were 1-1 in the eighth when Goldschmidt crushed one to deep center. He rounded the bases but they sent him back to second because they said it hit the line after a review. Arizona has hit three more home runs in the inning. This feels like an #LOLMets moment.

 

Nah, the #LOLMets moment was when Goldschmidt stole home with 2 outs after Chris Owings got himself hung up in a rundown between first and second base.

 

It's like Phil Jackson is the GM of the Mets in his spare time

 

Does he have spare time? I would think the Knicks' job is pretty much 24-7.
