Strasburg has 14 strikeouts thru 6.

 

Chase Anderson has a no-hitter thru 7, with 111 pitches, and Eric Byrnes is going nuts on the other MLB Network guy who thinks the Brewers should pull Anderson to keep the pitch count low.

"Take the pacifier out! Take the diaper off!"

 

OOP has no intentions of being funny. Cookie actually thinks his shtick is entertaining. We have had guys over the years who were very unfunny. But nobody has ever tried as hard to be funny, and has failed so miserably as this cookie guy. I enjoy watching it.

There is a not-so-secret pattern to the schtick. I thought someone might have started to figure it out by now, but then I remembered whom I was dealing with.

 

As much as I like to ridicule people who throw in the towel on players/teams early in a game/season, the Cardinals and Wainwright really did look lost at the start of the season. Their D was especially horrible, considering they were touting it as something they improved.
