    And Vermont would not have been a 16 seed. Probably 13 or 14 but not 16.

    Cuonzo and Leonard Hamilton devote as much to Xs and Os as your average AAU coach. And their games look exactly like that.

    You were surprised the vast majority of people picked Virginia to win two games? Really? They were No. 1 in the nation, the No. 1 overall seed, came into the tournament at something like 31-2, dominated the ACC with multiple victories over North Carolina, Duke, etc. Can't imagine why the general public would think a team like that might advance to the Sweet 16.

    We have seen it before. An otherwise great coach who gets so tense this time of year his players tighten up too.

    Roy Williams was like that. He figured it out. I posted it up thread, but Tony Bennett should really go talk to him this offseason.

    If my 35 years old memory is correct, Northridge beat Chaminade in overtime. I tried googling the game but couldn’t find it.
