May have been in a bit over his head with the Warriors of that time. And the Kings to this day remain a monumental flustercluck.

Loyola can't miss when it actually attempts a shot. Turnovers are frittering away the lead.

In the other game, ATM getting waxed. So much for the Resurgent SEC Basketball storyline parroted by Clay Travis et al.

John Beilein remains one of the top 5-10 college basketball coaches in America.

I'm getting such a kick out of this Loyola team. They've got couple really nifty little guards in Custer and Townes.

Lord, would it ever be awesome to see them knock off Calipari's one and done factory on Saturday.

I have lived within 30 miles of Chicago pretty much my entire life and I have never set foot in Loyola’s arena. That will change next year.

The gamblers love him. He has the best record against the spread in March of any coach.

I wonder how much also goes back to his old man - extremely intense. Eric got a DUI when he was with the Kings and maybe that kept the colleges away for a while.

He's a very good coach. However, I've also seen this Nevada team go through team chemistry issues this year, lose their way, fall behind by double digits in the second half in three straight tournament games and then, tonight, have zero clue on late-game strategy when trailing by 1 and leaving too many fouls to give when losing late.

And letting it play out with a one-point lead and a six-second differential in game and shot clocks. Even if all goes well and force a miss, you need a clean and immediate rebound to have much of a chance to score.

Did you have a Bobby Trippe moment down South one day? Running out of plausible explanations for your obsession.

I wonder how many tickets for the Atlanta South Region were bought by UVa fans.

I bet you could have bought ticket books real cheap after round one. Hell, you probably could have picked them up off of the ground outside the arena.
