At least in Rhode Island, when I was a police reporter there - If you don't notice any signs of intoxication or smell alcohol on the driver, then you don't have probable cause to ask them to submit to a preliminary breath test at the scene. It was a car accident, so a kid stumbling away from the car isn't really a sign of intoxication.

This whole story is shady AF though. I'm sure the NCAA will get right on the investigation into Cleveland State.

Is Izzo just hustling? Is he driving up the odds so he can clean up in the tournament or in a year when no team is great, he can’t get the most out of a relatively good team?

    maybe he’s preoccupied?

Team never should have been rated No.1
A large part of that was based on having a healthy Joshua Langford
Winston has to score too much
Tillman is a great complementary player
A lot of emerging, but inconsistent, options
    They’re a tournament team but probably a first-weekend knockout

From a broken hand to breaking Chapel Hill's heart. Nice, Wendell Moore.

When Duke gets the home court call in Chapel Hill and trump is president t you can forget about the second coming anytime soon. It’s end times

Duke has carte blanche to anything it wants on defense in the last two minutes of a game.

Won't disagree. Media has had a field day with that and justifiably so.

    But two things to consider:
    1) Bunch of missed calls in that game. That's usually the case, and that game was no exception.
    2) Given the perception - real or otherwise - of the benefit of the doubt the folks in Baby Blue have received over the last couple of generations, that dog won't hunt. The ABC crowd doesn't want to hear it. Neither do I.
