I'm going to revise my position ... I did not realize that UR had moved that much in the NET rankings. So you are probably right. Win tonight is a must. Then they'll need to hope for some bracket luck in the tournament. They could probably survive a semifinal loss to someone like Rhody or Saint Louis. But if it's Davidson or Bonaventure, that would be a bad NET hit.

Yes, there's work to be done. But at least they are in position. Mooney has done an excellent job this year, despite losing his top player for a stretch and despite the clamor from some alums to fire him.

Edit: Down goes Duquesne. Solid Q2 road win.

I think this is the first time Duquesne has won 20 or more since the 1970s.

I hope Kay Yow was watching somewhere. NCSU women won their first ACC Tournament title in almost 30 years (sorry, Donny).

Yes, this was a women's basketball post, not the guys and not gambling. Sue me.

Maryland Men’s and Women’s regular season basketball champions of the Big 10.

as I understand it, the conference champion is derived from the regular season. The conference tournament is the play-in to the NCAA tournament

It’s a great tradition and the seniors did it in the final seconds when the game was decided plus it was nice to see Cassius Winston get a standing ovation at his final home game
Chris Holtmann needs to get the stick out of his ass, or maybe win the game

He's right. It's a multi-episode exhibition of taunting which stretches out the already-interminable ending of the game for minutes and minutes.
You're a senior, we're happy for ya, yadda yadda. Do your floor kissing and all your other pageantry after the game, when the opposing team can pack up and get out.

    Holtmann apologized after the game

As I said, if you don’t want to see it, win the fucking game
