VMI with another rout: 98 - 32 over Goucher. They have to have the best point differential for a 3-6 team in basketball history.

North Dakota State 115 North Central (college or high school?) 50

UNC -Wilmington 122 Emory & Henry (which may be a college or an upscale steak house, I'm not sure) 66

 

I heard an interview with the kid who made the shot, and he said that it was just like a layup drill. "You start doing them as a kid in elementary school. I've done it thousands of times. Just a layup."

 

VMI appears to not be running DuggarBall anymore - they're only averaging 74 points per game. So it must be the opposition.

 

Duggar's down at El Cid these days, where they're only averaging 76.4 per game this year ... so they may still be running DuggarBall, but not nearly at the level he did at VMI.

I've heard of Emory & Henry, but not Emory & Howard.

 

So many coaches in that situation will scream for the timeout to set something up.

Sometimes no coaching is the best coaching.
