Noonan caddying in a major with no fans? Talk about anticlimactic. But he should get a little something for the effort.

My man Lanto Griffin was playing in our State Open four years ago. Now he's set to play the Tour Championship and make no worse than $3.5 million for the year. Crazy.

I think of you every time I see him on the leaderboard or the betting apps. And I should have paid him more heed on the latter.

In a huge wreck with only one car remaining. The biggest, massive pileup ever seen, except he's already seen them and they're HUUUUUUUUUGE.

Or in Brian Z's words, like the seventh game of a sport that actually has a postseason. Because that's actually not manipulated.

Cameron Champ, one of only two African-Americans in the field, addressed that. His point was he could bring more awareness to social injustice by playing, then talking about it after his rounds. He has been wearing one white shoe and one black shoe during competition, and played last week with his scores inscribed with the names of Jacob Blake, Breonna Taylor and BLM.

It's not as great as that. It's the way they want to conduct their championship. I personally don't care how they do it, among more than I cared when the NBA put the 3-point shot in or when team sports expanded playoffs. It's their candy store.

Are the NBA, MLB, MLS and NASCAR competitors kicking in any of their money back to charity?
Since the pandemic began Tour players have combined to raised more than $35 million for charities related to health care. The presenting sponsor for the Tour Championship, the Southern Company, is still donating the $3.5 million it pledged to charity. The Tour also announced this week that it was pledging $100 million over the next 10 years for social justice and racial justice programs.

Tiger winning the tournament but not the jackpot is also an acceptable ending. If you can name the winner of the 2018 jackpot without peeking, you're a diehard Tour fan.
